This screen is made from SUS304 stainless steel with a titanium coating for increased surface hardness and corrosion resistance. The 0.2 mm thickness allows it to sit in the portafilter without affecting dose volume or distribution, making it suitable for daily use with minimal adjustment.
A double-layer mesh and 11,848 laser-cut holes provide 0.18 mm filtration for uniform water dispersion across the puck. This helps reduce channeling and improves extraction balance. Acting as a barrier between the coffee bed and the brew head, the screen minimizes residue buildup and simplifies cleaning.
